Usage Instruction

1. Our steel cylinder is designed for compressed natural gas storage. Each cubic meter of CNG, after dehydration, desulfuration, and other treatments, should contain no more than 8mg of water and no more than 20mg of hydrogen sulfide.

2. Filling of the CNG cylinder should conform to related local regulations and rules. It is forbidden to use our gas cylinder for holding mixed gas, other type of gaseous material and CNG not conforming to the requirement listed above. Prior to CNG filling, there should be an overall check of the gas cylinder performed by a qualified professional in gas filling.

3. The working pressure for our CNG cylinder is the designed gas filling pressure of 15℃ (20Mpa).

4. The CNG cylinder should be checked and tested thoroughly every three years, or given periodic checks and tests according to local regulation and rules. The checking and testing of gas cylinders should be conducted by qualified companies in the industry. It is forbidden to continue to use the CNG cylinders which have been seriously corroded, burned, impacted, or damaged by other reasons, so as to avoid potential dangers.

5. The designed service life for our steel gas cylinder is 15 years, with gas filling no more than 1000 times every year.

6. Keep the cylinder mouth and cylinder body away from any oil and grease, and never transport our CNG cylinder together with oil or grease materials, or other easily flammable materials.

7. Handle with care. Don't throw or drag the gas cylinders while loading and unloading, so as to avoid scratching or damaging the cylinder body. Also keep our CNG cylinder away from moisture to avoid component damage.

8. For the first time filling, the CNG cylinder should be vacuumed or given a nitrogen replacement to dispel air in the cylinder. Never use up the CNG in the cylinder. At least 0.1Mpa pressure should remain in the cylinder before refilling.

9. Never engrave, cut, throw or toss the gas cylinder when it is in use.

10. When the cylinder valve is frozen, never unfreeze using fire. If necessary, warm water can be used for valve unfreezing.

11. Don't change the gas cylinder identification and color marking without authority. Don't use CNG cylinders without identification or with unclear identification.

12. If there is a chance of backflow, the CNG consumption equipment should be equipped with a device to prevent backflow.

13. CNG cylinder should be placed in dry, well ventilated, and cool areas. It's forbidden to place the gas cylinder in places with radioactive rays.

14. Keep our CNG cylinder away from strong acid and alkali materials. Scratches on cylinders' winding layer are forbidden.

15. Fully filled CNG cylinder should be kept away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and should be at least 10 meters away from a flame.

16. The working temperature of our gas cylinder ranges from -40℃ to 65℃.

17. During the assembly of a CNG cylinder, the components should be fastened tightly to the cylinder using soft contact. Avoid using any assembly or installation methods that may cause reduction of cylinder strength and rigidity. As for cylinder re-assembly after a cylinder check and test, the component tightening positions should be different from previous ones.
